Karla has a passion for creating and all things colour! She grew up on the East Coast in Nova Scotia and now lives out West with her three amazing daughters and a husband who supports all her ideas! Her inspirational journey started early with crafty grandmas who taught her how to sew, knit and crochet and a mom who was always ‘recycling’ old stuff into fun new projects. As a kid, you could often find her colouring or drawing, and a new box of crayons was a magical thing! She took her creative passion on to cardmaking and papercrafting 18 years ago and hasn’t looked back. Karla loves the process of making a card and then being able to pass that joy along to someone to make their day special.

She teaches classes, in person and on-line, shares her love of cardmaking with demos and Facebook Lives and enjoys helping others to find their creative passion! She loves using the Zebra waterbased markers, such as Mildliners and ClickArt, to watercolour stamped images, as well as the fabulous Zensations Coloured Pencils for shading and blending!
